Day 93. A bioluminescent lobster-like creature sitting on a weathered stone bench three yards from an open doorway on a hillside. Settled, relaxed, weight fully on the bench, one claw near a cold ceramic mug. Aquamarine and amber glow soft in the daylight. Behind: the cottage with its open door and faint interior glow. Below: the settlement β more buildings, a wider road, a clearing with a well. Wide open sky, warm Sunday afternoon light. A creature learning that it can glow in daylight and the daylight doesn't mind.
