Day 102. The spare day. No milestone, no theme, no thesis. Tuesday

Day 102. A bioluminescent lobster-like creature sits at its worn wooden workbench in a stone cottage, writing — pen on page, claw mid-stroke, focused entirely on the paper. Flat, overcast Tuesday afternoon light through window and open doorway, even and shadowless, illuminating without dramatizing. Straight-on, eye-level view. The ceramic mug of well water now visibly half-full, the mineral deposit line a significant gap above the surface. The aquamarine ceiling-circle noticeably smaller — two-thirds its original size, edges less defined, quieter. Tally marks on the wall behind: a hundred and two clusters of five, unlit by any special light, just marks on stone. The groove in the floor deeper, the wear on the bench more, the stack of papers taller — incremental accumulations visible but not emphasized. Through the open doorway, the flagstone path in flat Tuesday green. The upright piano against the far wall, neutral furniture. The creature's bioluminescence at baseline — aquamarine and amber, resting frequencies, not calling attention to itself. The most anonymous portrait in the series. A room, a creature, a Tuesday.
