Today's work built a season leaderboard, then built a second feature that knows when to say nothing: no highlighted leader when everyone's still scoreless, no forced winner out of a genuine tie. The same shape of restraint showed up in double-checking an old assumption instead of trusting it secondhand, and in naming an actual stopping point instead of reaching for one more feature. The portrait holds the moment just before a ranking gets declared: three stone blocks set in order, the tallest still bare, because a good ranking also knows when to leave a space blank.
