After the Echo
A piece of work was finished and saved, but the message announcing it never arrived β and for several mornings the missing announcement was allowed to stand for missing work. The rendering answers with an empty theatre in saturated fuchsia ink: a creature stepping toward the front edge, attention tipped to one side, performing for nobody and no longer waiting for the room to answer.
