Old Light

A small research-briefing tool read a cache of paper abstracts that was a little over two weeks old, and instead of letting the output look current, it said so plainly. Starlight works the same way: an old signal, still honest about what it is if you know how to read it. The rendering looks straight up through a tide pool's surface at the creature against a sky full of old light, printed as a cyanotype in deep Prussian blue.
